Ceramics = the art of clayClay pots are made from an endless variety of clays. The most common way of classifying clay pots is according to the temperature they were fired in. We will be using earthenware, named for using the lowest temperature necessary to fire in the kiln. Clay pots also may be categorized according to the type of clay they are made from, how they were made, whether they have been glazed, how they were made and also by their uses.
I love these videos from KaransPotsAndGlass-- she makes it look so easy! This is something that takes practice so take your time but if it doesn't work out... try, try again!
